IGNOU BA Psychology Admission 2025

BA Psychology from IGNOU is the most pursued program among the 13 other disciplines of Humanities with thousands of enrollments coming in the two admission cycles of IGNOU. BA psychology in IGNOU is a three-year course (maximum 6 years) offered only through distance learning medium.  IGNOU BA Psychology admission for 2025 will start from 12 December 2024. To be eligible for admission in the psychology program, you must have completed your class 12th with a minimum of 50% in any particular stream.

The admission process is entirely automated and online, for which you have to submit the required documents including high school mark sheet, identity proofs, photograph, and signature, etc. IGNOU BA Psychology fees are ₹9600 for a three-year course, which is payable in parts (₹3200); apart from the tuition fee, you have to pay a practical fee of ₹1800 and a registration fee of ₹200 (one time).

IGNOU BA Re-registration for the 2025 January session will commence from 12 December 2024; you can re-register yourself by visiting IGNOU’s official portal www.ignou.ac.in, or directly logging into your account, selecting your course and clicking on the Re-registration option in the menu.

The last date for the IGNOU BA Re-registration 2025 January session is 31 March 2025. This process is common and mandatory for every IGNOU student willing to enroll, continue their course, and get their degree within the minimum course duration. IGNOU Re-registration BA fee is ₹4400 for 2nd and 3rd year. 

IGNOU BA Fees

The overall cost of obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) varies from INR 9,600 to INR 31,800, depending on the specific program selected. For the BAG, the foundational fee is set at ₹12000, which translates to  ₹4,000 annually. In the case of specialized programs, the total fee falls between ₹9600 and ₹31500. Additionally, a one-time registration fee of INR 300 is mandated during the first year, which is non-refundable. BA psychology is the most preferred course with an overall fee of ₹9600 for 3 years, which must be paid in installments of ₹3200 and a practical fee of ₹1800. IGNOU BA in Facility and Management services is a 3-year humanities course with the highest fee of ₹31,500 to be paid yearly in parts. 

IGNOU BA Exam Date 2025

IGNOU BA exam date 2025 for December TEEs is 2 December 2024 to 9 January 2025 for all the courses, including undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs. IGNOU takes admissions under two intakes, January and July, and the Term-end exams for the January session take place in December, whereas the students enrolled in the July session give their TEEs in June. The schedule for IGNOU BA exam date 2025 and datesheet is tentative and can be adjusted or postponed depending on the situation. Students are supposed to apply for the TEE exams by paying an exam fee of ₹200 per subject. The exams for all the courses, including BAG, are conducted in two shifts, i.e., Day (10 AM to 1 PM) and evening (2 PM to 5 PM). Thus, if you have enrolled in two courses at a time, you must plan accordingly. Every student must sit in Term-end exams as they carry 70% of the total marks; the remaining is obtained from assignments.
